Staff and volunteers gathered at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, Arizona for a special aerial group photo of the ‘PEACE’ sign. The PEACE groupshot was produced to commemorate and celebrate the “World Day of Peace” during the Festival of Peace. The Casa, in collaboration with Peace Whisperer, a worldwide peace project of the Women and Cancer Fund, hosted the annual Festival of Peace – a special occasion to gather and uplift the community’s hearts and learn how we all can be even greater channels for peace in the world.

Scottsdale, AZ – Ballet Arizona recently took an intermission from the Ballet Ball with “The Ballet Thing 2012” – a festive, fun, and playful evening of dance, dining, and celebrating at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Attendees and guests enjoyed a preview performance of PLAY before the Company brings full production to the Joyce in New York City.
Proceeds from The Ballet Thing will go to support Ballet Arizona’s New York City debut.

22nd ANNUAL HEARD MUSEUM HOOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Brian Hammill (Ho Chunk) of New River, AZ, held onto his senior division title, with Moontee Sinquah (Hopi/Tewa) of Glendale, AZ, taking second place and longtime hoop dancer Terry Goedel (Yakima/Tulalip), father of Michael Goedel winning third place.
In the youth division, Tiana Schocko, the younger sister of Vanessa Schocko, won the world title, while Nedallas Hammill (Navajo/Ho Chunk), the son of Brian Hammill, won second place
Parada Del Sol 2012
Just another sunny Saturday morning in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona with the Hashknife Pony Express leading the 59th Annual Parada del Sol Parade. Scottsdale’s Parada del Sol is the longest horse-drawn parade in the world with this year’s event attended by over 75, 000 spectators.

J.W. (Bill) Marriott, Jr. – Then & Now
Twenty-four years later, Peter Jordan again had the honor of photographing resort industry leader, Chairman and CEO of Marriott International, Inc., J.W. Marriott, Jr. at the beautiful Camelback Inn Scottsdale Resort & Spa. Coincidentally, it was at the Camelback Inn when Peter photographed Bill Marriott shortly after he was elected chairman of the board of Marriott International, Inc. in 1987.
